Fire investigation 

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has dedicated Fire Investigation Officers, who have responsibility for detailed fire investigation in and around Oxfordshire.

These specially qualified Officers are able to provide support to operational fire crews in the process of investigating possible causes of fire. From their findings they produce comprehensive reports, which provide detailed information for any subsequent actions such as criminal proceedings, insurance investigations, and inquests into fire fatalities.
