Watlington Fire Cadets

The cadet unit at Watlington Fire Station has been running since 2000 and meets on a Monday evening between 19:00pm and 21:00pm term time only.
The Fire Cadets earn vital firefighting skills and train regularly with items of equipment such as ladders, hose and take on tasks such as building improvised dams that can be used on the fire-ground. They also take part in team building activities and regularly get asked to assist or help within the community.
In addition to training on a Monday night Watlington Fire Cadets have close links with the Watlington Business Association (WBA). The WBA have recently donated a large sum of money to the unit. This is being spent on renovating the Fire Cadet muster area.
Watlington Fire Cadets welcomes both boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 to the unit.
