Whether you have a mobility, sight or hearing difficulty or if you are elderly, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service can provide fire safety advice and if necessary will visit you in your own homes to help you carry out a Home Fire Risk Check.
We can offer advice on the siting of correctly fitted smoke alarms, tailoring escape plans to the individual’s mobility or condition and provide guidance on what to do in the event of a fire.
We are constantly seeking out opportunities to work in partnership with other responsible agencies that also provide services to vulnerable people in their own homes, which will enable us to work together in reducing risk
