Fire safety tips

If you are a victim of a fire it can be a distressing and a devastating experience, wiping out your possessions, leaving you with thousands of pounds worth of damage to your home or even worse you or your family injured or dead.

Change your clocks, service your alarms

With the clocks going forward this weekend, we are reminding people of the need to regularly maintain their smoke alarms.

How fast are you

Could you react fast enough if the unexpected happened?

Put it out put it right out!

We are backing No Smoking Day Wednesday 10th March by urging smokers to consider the fire safety issues linked to smoking at home.

It’s your call!

If you use a mobile phone whilst driving you are 4 times more likely to crash.

Don’t drown in toxic smoke. Test your smoke alarm today!

You’re listening to the sound that 1 in 4 smoke alarms make!

Don’t risk it think! don’t drink and drive!

You are more likely to cause a serious road accident or even die, than a driver who hasn’t been drinking. if you are out drinking, book a taxi, grab a lift or even walk home. It’s not worth the risk.

Is your thatch at risk?

A thatched roof is always at risk from fire. Once a fire has taken hold in a thatch it will spread rapidly.
