Multicultural
We work with various ethnic communities to provide smoke alarms and fire safety information.
Sometimes the social conditions and language limitations of these groups can put them and their families at greater risk from fire.
Four per cent of Oxfordshire’s population are from multicultural backgrounds and this is set to rise in coming years.
By working with voluntary groups and other organisations, we are building relationships with our ethnic communities to make more services accessible to them.
