Heroes4Heroes bike ride launch and motorcycle awareness day

In Bonn Square, Oxford on Saturday the 17th April Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service launched their Heroes4Heroes charity bike ride and also raised awareness of motorcycle safety.

There was a realistic view of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and car and road safety messages will be delivered by the team.

The Heroes4Heroes John O’Groats to Lands End, 1,000 miles in 14 days charity bike ride, which will take place from 5th June to 18th June 2010.  

The team will be delivering motorcycle safety messages throughout their journey.Heroes4Heroes is a team made up of Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service personnel who are raising awareness and funds for two very worthwhile causes, The Fire Fighters Charity and Help the Heroes.

The team raised £1,944 on the day!
